Actress. She will be fondly remembered for playing 'Sally Rogers' in the TV series "The Dick Van Dyke Show" (1961 to 1966). Born Rose Marie Mazetta, her father was a Broadway actor. She began her lengthy career in entertainment at the age of three, when she first sang on radio in 1927, which led to her own program. She also appeared in several film during this period (billed as "Baby Rose Marie") of which include "Rambling 'Round Radio #3" (1933), "International House" (1933) and "Sea Sore" (1934). Following a period of retirement, she resumed her career in the Broadway comedy "Top Banana" (1951 to 1951), which starred Phil Silvers. She repeated her role as 'Betty Dillon' in the film adaptation in 1954. Additionally, she resumed her singing career on the nightclub circuit during the 1950s. She played the role of 'Bertha' on the TV series "My Sister Eileen". During her years playing the wisecracking, comedy writer 'Sally Rogers' paired with Morey Amsterdam on "The Dick Van Dyke Show," she received three Emmy Award nominations. She went on to appear in scores of TV programs including "The Monkees" and "My Three Sons", as well as many others into the 2000s. She played 'Myrna Gibbons' on "The Doris Day Show" (1969 to 1971) and was a frequent guest star on the TV game show "The Hollywood Squares." She was married to musician Bobby Guy from 1946 until his death in 1964.
