Tyler Henderson, 53, passed away on December 24, 2017, in Sandy, Utah. He was born August 18, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Yvonne Smith and Gerald Lester Henderson.

Tyler had many passions in life. He loved the outdoors and many of the activities in nature. He loved hunting with his brothers, children and cousins and had many trophies that he kept. He loved the ocean and would take every chance he could to take a vacation with the ocean nearby. He loved to go to Mexico with his family and enjoy the sun. He and his family loved going on various cruises to explore the world around them. Their latest was an adventure to Alaska from which they created many memories.

Tyler had a big heart. He was one who cared for everyone around him. He would often look to help others before himself, even if it took a sacrifice on his part to better the life of others. He enjoyed working in the construction business with his brother and nephews operating heavy excavation equipment. He loved trying new ideas. He created and started several businesses throughout the years.

He is survived by his wife, Lori, his children, parents, ten siblings and many nieces and nephews, all who will miss him dearly.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy, UT, beginning at 2 PM. A visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 1 PM at the same location.
