Sarah was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo, collecting salt & pepper shakers, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by sons, Harry Green, Jr. and Thomas Green, and daughter, Rebecca Weaver, all of Emmitsburg; brother, Leonard Trent, Sr. and sisters, Judy Altoff , Linda Lutz, and Brenda Lamparter, all of PA; granddaughters, Jennifer and Samantha Weaver of NC; great-granddaughter, Natasha Weaver; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Sarah was predeceased by a son, Richard Green and several of her many siblings.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD. A private graveside service and inurnment will be held at a later date.
