Michael Alan Millsap, age 56, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

A private funeral service will be held on a later date at the Syracuse Baptist Church. Burial will be at Syracuse City Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Bothwell Cancer Foundation in care of Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia.

In addition to his wife Tammy, he is survived by a daughter Morgan Sublett (Josh) of Harrisburg, and a son Marshal Millsap (Megan) of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Austyn Anderson, Eastan and Cameron Sublett; three step granddaughters, Sheridan Anderson, Alexis and Valerie Sublett; three brothers, Billy Millsap (Theresa) of Sedalia, Jeff Millsap (Shanda) of Otterville, and Dusty Millsap (Shonna) of Tipton; and his mother and father-in-law, Richard and Sherral Sprinkles of Syracuse.

SEDALIA — Michael Alan Millsap, 56, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1961 in Kansas City, MO, the son of George W. "Bill" Millsap who preceded him in death and Kathy (St. John) Millsap, who resides in Laurie, MO.
On August 15, 1981 in Syracuse, he was united in marriage to Tamela (Tammy) Bremer, who resides of the home.
Mike was a member of the Otterville Baptist Church. He owned and operated Mike's Cabinets and Counters. He was a master craftsman and loved his work. In his spare time he enjoyed going fishing. Mike especially loved his family and spending as much time as he could with them. He was loved by many.
