Mr. Herrick, 74, of Rochester died Friday (June 20, 1997) at Saint Marys Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born Feb. 23, 1923, in Rochester, where he lived all his life. On Aug. 9, 1947, he married Ethel Benike in Rochester. Mr. Herrick worked with his father at Leo N. Herrick &; Sons Bicycle Shop and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1982 after 30 years of service. He was active in the Antique Motorcycle Club of America and served in the Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Herrick of New Hope; two daughters, Gail McFarlin of Rochester and Holly (Mrs. Robert) Greiner of Ames, Iowa; three grandchildren; two sisters, Leona Peterson of Alamo, Calif., and Virginia Woltz of Phoenix; and a brother, Robert Herrick of Rochester. He was preceded in death by a sister.
