Lola Mae Lewis, born May 1, 1953, was reborn Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 in Bay Medical Center in Panama City.

Lola was an avid bingo player, she loved fishing, camping, and shopping, but most of all she loved her family more than anything.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, James Walter “Jake” Lewis, of Port St. Joe; her children, Jennifer Anderson, James (Stephanie) Lewis, Kevin (Brandi) Lewis, and Stacy (Lurch) Lewis; her grandchildren, Haley Anderson, James Smith, Maelee Lewis, Nick Lewis, Katelyn Lewis, Aiden Lewis, Dyson Kent, Conner Lewis, Morgan Anderson, and Hunter Anderson; and her siblings, Alford (Terri) Moses, Anita (Randy) Moses, William Earl Moses, and Teresa (Chris) Howard.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Lamar Anderson; her mom, the Rev. Willie Irene Moses; her father, W. T. Moses; and her sister, Shirley Roberts.

A celebration of her life was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 at Hope Family Worship Center conducted by the Rev. Glen Davis. Interment followed in Pleasant Rest Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Comforter Funeral Home.
