NORTH ATTLEBORO — Linda Lee Harrington, 54, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Born on Feb. 20, 1963 in Norwood, she was the beloved daughter of Doris M. (Sweeney) Harrington of Plainville, and the late William E. Harrington.

A graduate of King Philip Regional High School, Class of 1981, she was awarded a Culinary Arts summer internship at Stonehill College, and most recently attended Integrative Institute of Nutrition, N.Y., earning her certification as a Nutrition Health Coach.

Linda was a resident of North Attleboro for the past 10 years, having previously lived in Wrentham. She attended St. Mark’s Church in Attleboro Falls.

A warm, caring, and creative woman, Linda was a wonderful cook who enjoyed art, especially painting, and puzzles. She loved all things Irish, listening to the Carpenters music, visits to the beach and to the casino, and watching sunsets. More than anything, Linda cherished spending time with her family and with her sweet cat “Fiona”, who was like a child to her.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings: William E. Harrington Jr. of Plainville, Kathleen M. Banks of North Attleboro, Sandra A. Stocks and her husband James R. Stocks of Rehoboth, Alice M. Labonte and her husband Adam E. Labonte, of Uxbridge, Mass.; and Janine M. Horton and her husband Todd E. Horton of Taunton. She was the sister of the late Patricia J. O’Malley and her husband, Thomas M. O’Malley. Linda leaves her dearest and best friend, Cathy A. Cameron of North Attleboro, as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Linda by gathering for a visitation on Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home — the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave., Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.

A Children’s Room is available during the visitation.

Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 9 a.m. at St. Mark’s Church, 105 Stanley St., Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.

Graveside services will immediately follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Walpole, at which time Linda will be laid to rest alongside her late father.
