Clarence L Dye Sr.

Age 88 of West Union, WV departed this Earthly Life on December 22, 2017 at United Hospital Center.

He was born June 09, 1929 in Wolf Summit, WV son of the late William Harrison and Iva Lena Mitchell Dye.

Clarence retired as a truck driver for Cook Motor Lines and Eazor Express with over thirty years of service and was a member of the Teamster Union.

He is survived by three daughters; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one sister.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline M Heater Dye on January 14, 2007; one son, Clarence L Dye, Jr; four brothers, William Oral Dye, Willis D Dye, Thurman Franklin Dye, and Amos Howard Dye; two sisters, Lorraine Lightner and Thelma Nadine Dent; one sister in infancy, Louise.

Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow at West Union Masonic Cemetery.
