Mr. Charles Neal of South Union Township, died Friday night at 7 o'clock, of old age. He was 88 years old and leaves eight children to mourn his death.
The children are: Mrs. William Dempsey, of Missouri; Mrs. Washington Cooper, of Colorado; Mrs. Amanda Bundy and Mrs. Philip Wagner, of Waverly, O. ; Mrs. John Haskins, of Union township; J.W. Neal, of this city, J.M. Neal and William T. Neal, of North Union township.
The funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at Springbank church. Rev. S. Pitzmeyer will officiate and the interment will be at Springbank cemetery.
Charles Neal was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (McDaniel) Neal, daughter of John and Mary (Shumate) McDaniel of Gallia County, Ohio.
