Funeral services for Kimberly D. Butler, 40, of Needville, TX, are set for 2:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Needville United Methodist Church, 8602 Church Street, Needville, TX 77461, with Rev. Pam Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Guy Public Cemetery, Guy, TX.
Visitation will be 5 - 7:00 PM Friday, December 29, 2017, at Needville United Methodist Church, Needville, TX 77461.
Active Pallbearers will be B.J. Butler, Joseph Butler, Terril Butler, Justin Meyer, Eric Jones, Jay Wallace, and Blake Horelica. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jace Jablonski, Blaine Eversole, Case Meyer, and Blake Folmar.
Kimberly was born February 22, 1977, in Richmond, TX, to Vernon Leon Butler and Cleo Jean Schulz. She died December 26, 2017, in Houston, TX. Kimberly was a joy to all who met her. She had a contagious smile that touched everyone who came in touch with her. She never met a stranger, and she never met anyone she didn’t love. She loved singing and dancing and playing sports. She loved going to Skeeters games, and she especially loved Special Olympics. She enjoyed time with her best friend, Larryn Lobue, and with all her other friends. She was adored by her family, and she loved them all, as well.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, V.L. (Butch) Butler and Cleo Jean (Koko) Butler; grandparents, V.K. (Pete) and Irene Schulz and J.C. Butler; niece, Leah Rose Butler; and uncles, Rex Allyn Schulz and Ray Schumann.
Survivors include her brothers, Butch Butler and wife Debra, Lynn Butler and wife Connie, Doug Butler and wife Marti, Gaylon Butler and wife Jacklyn, Brooks Butler and wife Rachael; sister, Bobbi Jablonski and husband T.J.; grandmother, Catherine Butler; nieces and nephews, Cailee and Breanna Butler, Terril Butler and fiancee Shelley Cobb, Steffenie Horelica and husband Blake, Monica Gilliam and husband Morgan, Cristian Pena and wife Abrey, Jay Wallace and wife Cari, Jessica Lara and husband Auggie, April Jones and husband Eric, Justine Meyer and wife Katie, Laurel Hobbs, Kyndir Folmar and husband Blake, B.J. Butler, Joseph Butler, and Jace Jablonski; many great nieces and nephews and cousins; aunts, Maxine Schulz, Carmen Schulz, and Corinne Schumann; numerous other aunts and uncles; many friends in her Special Olympics family, and her best friend, Larryn Lobue, as well as all her other friends.
