Jonathan W. Morris, age 76, of Leesburg, passed peacefully on December 27, 2017.

Born in Sabina on August 12, 1941, he was the son of the late Don V. and Mary Elizabeth Staubus Morris.

Jonathan was a graduate of Fairfield High School in Leesburg. He was a farmer and worked as a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed construction work and spending time with his dogs.

Jonathan is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Chris) Morris, of Leesburg, and Vincent (Elisabeth) Morris, of Bainbridge. Also left to cherish his memory is a grandson, James Morris; brother, Don Morris, of Leesburg; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jonathan is preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Morris Anders.

A graveside service, at Sabina Cemetery, will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Friends will be welcome for a time of fellowship, following the service, at Green Township Hall in Buena Vista.
