Beverly Jean Cox Burton, 83, of Houston, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. Beverly was born on August 25, 1934 in Ellsworth, KS to parents Herbert Merle Cox and Bertha Mary Keubelbeck. She graduated from Kansas State University in 1956 with a B.S. in Home Economics. Beverly married Dale Sherman Burton in 1959. She worked as a buyer for boys and girls clothing for numerous department stores from 1956-1960 and then deciding to be a housewife.
Beverly is survived by her son, Craig Burton and wife Lorrie; son, Brent Burton and wife Michele and grandchildren, Joshua, Stacie, Brianna and Susan; as well as many friends.
Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N.
