Ginger Leigh Hay Smith, 43, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Tuesday December 26, 2017 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center on Portsmouth Ohio. Ginger was born April 1, 1974 in Ashland, KY a daughter of Roma Gayle Miller Hay and the late Elmo Clarence Hay. In addition to her father Ginger was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Felix and Iris Hay; and her maternal grandparents, Roy and Maxine Miller. Ginger graduated from East Carter County High School and later received a bachelor’s degree in Art from Morehead State University. Ginger loved listening to music and working on her art. Including her mother Ginger is survived by her loving son, Brady “Buck” Smith of Grayson; and several friends and extended family who all mourn her passing. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday December 31, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Rob Baier officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Saturday and after 12 noon Sunday until the service hour all at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
