Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Green, 65, of Delhi will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with Rev. Eddie Fuller officiating.
Visitation will be held at Cox Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 5-8 PM.
Burial will be in the Faith Memorial Park Cemetery south of Delhi.
Mrs. Christine was born on May 8, 1952 in Gulfport, MS and died at her residence on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John McPherson and Divicie Hartley McPherson; a son Tobin Green; two brothers James and Thomas McPherson and a sister Lela Cobb.
Christine is survived by her husband Melvin Wayne Green of Delhi, LA; a son Nathaniel Green and partner Thomas Southern; a daughter Danielle Green Cobb and husband Ronnie of Rayville, LA ; three granddaughters Stormy Green, Sage Rider and Skye Cobb and three great grandchildren Easton Green, Ellie Ghrisgby and Audrey Rider.
She is also survived by five brothers and sisters, Charles McPherson of North Carolina, Elmore McPherson of Mobile, AL, Delores Hinton of Shreveport, LA, Georgia Denius of Poplarville, MS and Jackie Williams of Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Green, Lane Rider, Ronnie Cobb, Thomas Southern and Allen Ghrisgby.
