She was born on March 3, 1948, in Westville, Ill., the daughter of Louis and Ruth (Mariage) Vallangeon.
She will be missed by her son, Thomas (Shawna) Noble of Deridder, La.; her daughter, Robin (Gary) Cheesman of Danville; her grandchildren, Emily (Cody) Snow, Thomas Michael Snow, Allison Noble, Sydnee Noble, Tanya Cheesman and Erin Cheesman; her great-grandchild, Malachi Snow; her neice whom she thought of as a daughter, Marcia (Dan) Paree and her children, Jill (Trent) Smith and Kristen Moreman; her brothers, Ronald Vallangeon of Westville and Claude (Elaine) Vallangeon of Perrysville, Ind.; and her sister, Gladys (Chuck) Pickering of Westville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Jean, Tilly, Claudette and Linda; and her brothers, Andre, Robert, Donald, Richard and Arsene Vallangeon.
Sharon worked and then retired from TeePak in Danville. She enjoyed camping and being with her family. She will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Sharon's life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 29, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St., Westville, with Pastor Kevin Cox. Visitation will be held two hours prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Westville.
