Pearl Kingston Armstrong, 83, of Ackerly, died Sunday, December 24, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Derrick Looney officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born December 25, 1933 in Nolan County, Texas and married Howard Armstrong July 4, 1952 in Lamesa, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Armstrong of Ackerly; one son, Dennis Armstrong of O'Donnell; one daughter, Diann Armstrong of Houston; four grandchildren, LaDonna Denson of Big Spring, Sarah Crow of Sonora, Jesse Metcalf and wife, Frances, and Christopher Clark and wife, Jalisa all of Big Spring; seven great-grandchildren, Madison Smith, Taylor Timberlake, Zach Kinard, Woody Crow, Haylee Henderson, Greg Henderson and Nicole Clark; two brothers, Bobby Kingston of California and Jerold Kingston of Arizona; one sister, Ollie Holmes of Borden County; one sister-in-law, Judy Kingston of Borden County; one aunt, Barbara Kingston of Roscoe; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E. S. "Shorty" and Bonnie Kingston; one sister, Nell Scott; and two brothers, Glen T. Kingston and Jimmy Wayne Kingston.
