Billy James Horton, 73, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017, in Keene. Service 1 p.m. Thursday, Greenacres Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Burial: Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Billy James Horton was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Fort Worth to William Henry and Bernice Lou Linville Horton. Mr. Horton served in the United States Army and worked for the United States Postal Service before retiring. He was a member of Gambrell Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Travis. Survived by his daughter, April Horton of Fort Worth.
