Lived in Wiggins community for 30 years
Danny L. McDonald, 63, died Wednesday at his home near Wiggins. McDonald was born June 28, 1945, in Wichita, Kan., to Guy and Malinda McDonald. He had lived in the Wiggins community for about 30 years. Prior to ill health forcing his retirement, he worked for the Bureau of Land Management. McDonald was a member of the ACLU, enjoyed listening to country music, working on family genealogy, collecting "things" and working with cattle and horses.
Survivors include his three children, Chord and Chase of Long Beach, Calif., and Megan of Las Vegas, Nev.; and one sister, Patricia Rebein of Dodge City, Kan. He was preceded in death by one sister, two brothers and his parents.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Heer & Dahl Mortuaries & Crematory are entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
