Albert B. Dunn, age 99, of Paducah, KY and a native of McComb, MS passed away at 11:40 p.m. Monday, December 25, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital. Albert was the oldest active member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. He was retired from Illinoiis Central Railraod where he served as an electrical engineer. Albert enjoyed cooking and Chinese dishes was his specialty and chinese music being played while dining. He was a self taught musician, with the organ and guitar being his favorites. Albert was a veteran of U.S. Army where he served during World War II.
Survivors include one daughter, Candace (Larry) Cardin, Paducah, KY; one son, Albert Delmon (Jo) Dunn, Winterhaven, FL; one grand-daughter, Sarah (Nathan) Trussell, Paducah, KY; three great-grandchildren, Alex Trussell, Hannah Trussell and Addison Trussell.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years in 2013, Phauneil D. Dunn; parents, Albert Dunn & Emily Ruth Johnston Dunn.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Revs. Jeff Wallace and Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery with military rites . Friends may call Friday, December 29, 2017 from 10:00 a.m.- until service time of noon at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
