Betty Kathryn Fultz Fetters, age 74, of Frenchburg, and of the Life Care Center of Morehead,
went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 26th at St. Claire Hospital surrounded by
her family. Her outgoing personality and sense of humor made her a favorite wherever she
went and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Betty was born on April 28, 1943 in Frenchburg, Kentucky, one of seven children born to the
late Otis and Opal Tincher Fultz. She was a graduate of Menifee County High School and had
previously worked for Newsweek and McCall magazines in Dayton, OH. Her great joy was
caring for a number of children as a babysitter for many years until she retired.

She is survived by her son, Keith Fetters of Frenchburg; five sisters, Jean Thomas; Janet (Ray)
Wells; Zania Mullins; Linda Fultz and Sharon Stiltner, all of Frenchburg and one brother, Ralph
“Bud” Fultz, also of Frenchburg; and two aunts, Blanche Fields of Richmond and Wanda
Molenaar of Lexington. Also surviving are her very special great niece and nephew, Jaxson and
Jacie Fultz of West Carrollton, OH; a host of nieces and nephews and all of the children she
babysat for, all whom she considered her adopted grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Menifee Home for
Funerals in Frenchburg with Rev. Jess Brewer and Rev. Keith McGuire officiating. Burial will
follow in the Bashford Cemetery, Frenchburg ,KY. Pallbearers will include her babysitting
boys as she called them, Sammy Wells, Toby Wells and Ben Mattox, and nephews, David Thomas,
Richard Thomas, Dennis Thomas, Dean Fultz, Brad Rose, Adam Ross and Joey Stiltner. Honorary
pallbearers will be nephews, Anthony Wells and Barry Wells and the staff of the Life Care
Center.

Visitation will be after 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 28th at the Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg,KY with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
