Goleta, CA- Mr. Freddie Walker, 87, 119 Dearborn Place # 142 Goleta, CA (formerly of Harris County, GA) died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Prospect A.M.E. Church 77 Goat Rock Road Fortson, GA with the pastor Rev. Willie (Bo) Barber officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with military honors according to Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel at Rose Hill LLC 2919 Hamilton Road Columbus, GA 31904. Visitation will be today, Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Walker was born September 30, 1930 son of the late John and Maddie Walker. He was a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Walker retired from Delbro School with thirty years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Andrew Walker, Jacob Walker and Cornell Walker. Mr. Walker leaves to cherish his precious memories, his siblings, Cathern Walker, Sybol Walker, Lunvier Walker, Harold Walker and Richard Walker; three nieces, Mary A. Perkins, Patricia (Arthur) Clayton and Shelia (Jeffery); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
