Marvin G. Morrison, 68, of Proctorville, Ohio, born December 28, 1948, went to be with the Lord on Monday December 25, 2017 at Ohio State University Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Morrison; mother Ruth Deerfield; special stepfather George Deerfield; three sisters Dorothy Mullins, Betty Floyd, and Lola Johnson; and a brother Edgar Justice. Surviving are two brothers Jack (Pasty) Tolliver and Dee (Linda) Morrison; a son Marvin “Rocky” Morrison, Jr.; a daughter Robin Morrison-Fullen; special son-in-law Henderson Fullen; and the light of his life, his only grandchild, Brandon Morrison. After graduating from Boyd County High School in 1967, he served six years in the Army Reserves and worked at ACF Industries retiring several years ago. He loved animals and was a donor to the Humane Society. He was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan and loved going to local high school sporting events. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday December 28, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday December 28, 2017 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
