Mrs. Long was a Child Care Provider for over twenty years. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, CEC, and VBS for thirty years. She enjoyed making quilts, crafts, helping with the Calvary Preschool and blessing shed. She also liked collecting items such as clothes and toys for the less fortunate children.
Surviving Mrs. Long is her husband, William "Bill' Long of Watseka; daughter, Jennifer Long of Watseka; brothers Kurt Hoogstraat and Jon Kessler of Elk Grove, IL and Kris and Mendy Hoogstraat of Ashkum, IL; a special grandson, Quentin Meredith; and many nieces and Nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
