During her life she worked at WPAFB, Kettering Hospital, The Peter Li Company, the New Carlisle Public Library, and was a secretary at the First United Methodist Church in New Carlisle. Annette was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, the Cincinnati Reds, and her family, but especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents; sister Barbara Hawkins; brother Charles; and her beloved husband of 61 years, Richard. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, brother in law, several nieces and nephews. Annette was a much-loved mother and grandmother. She was a joy to all who knew her, and she will be missed.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Vancrest of New Carlisle Nursing Home for the love and care she has received for the past 4 years. Services to celebrate her life will be Saturday at 11:00 AM with a gathering of friends beginning at 10:00 AM in TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with Rev. Andrew Leighty officiating. Burial to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McKendree United Methodist Church, 2025 Dayton-Brandt Road, Troy, Ohio 45373.
