Junior was the oldest son of the late David Lee Reaves (1913-1968) and Catherine (Ervin) Reaves (1916-1989) also of Lipscomb.

He is survived by his sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Cecelia (Tate) Reaves. Also by two brothers, Larry Reaves (Connie), James D. (JD) Reaves (Linda), and three sisters, Mary Jones (Larry) of Hueytown, Sandra Hitt (Kenneth) of Cleveland, Al., and Kathey Knighten (Jimmy) of Pigeon Forge, TN.

He is predeceased by two brothers, Ricky and Jerry Lynn (infant) and three sisters, Annie Ruth Schnault (1936-2000), Helen Mathews, Jannie Moore and Donna Sue (infant).

Junior was well loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was never changing, kind, and always ready to help anyone in need. He was a true servant to all. He loved the Lord, his family and extended family, and his church family of Calvary Baptist in Concord. Junior was usually the first to arrive and last to leave. He will be truly missed by all.
