Jane Carolyn (Grinder) Coleman-Talbott passed away on August 14, 2016, at Fort Washington Hospital. She was born on January 22, 1935, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of John Clement and Catherine Elizabeth (Mattingly) Grinder.

She was an active member of Indian Head Moose Lodge, and the St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her former husband, Charles Fredrick Coleman; one daughter, Nancy Leigh Coleman; and six brothers, John Eugene, Francis Clement, Thomas Leo, William Joseph, Joseph Edward, and Robert Carl Grinder.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne S. Talbott; two daughters, Linda (Steve) Adams, and Polly Anna (J.L) Shontz; one son, Charles Frederick (Anthony) Coleman, Jr.; three grandchildren, Laura Gilroy, and Randy and Elizabeth (Eliza) Shontz; one great-grandson, Maxwell Emerson; and two sisters, Theresa Mudd and Eleanor Dudley.

Friends received at Williams Funeral Home, Indian Head, MD. Catholic mass held at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Indian Head, MD. Interment in St. Charles Cemetery, Glymont, MD. Repass held at the Moose Lodge, Indian Head, MD.
