MRS. EDWARD FRANKLIN – This community was deeply moved when the news of the death of Mrs. Edward Franklin of Dunnville reached here on Thursday morning. (She died July 17 in War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville) Deceased had been in ill health for the past few years and several operations had been performed to no avail and she was relieved of all her suffering. She was born and raised here, being the youngest daughter of the late Jesse E. Furry and wife and was loved and respected by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband and one son, Merle, also two sisters and four brothers; Mrs. Norman Coons & Adrian of Hamilton, Mrs. Hugh Webster of Fredonia, N.Y., Charles of Stoney Creek, Emery of Port Colborne and Orville of Niagara Falls, N.Y., besides a number of nieces and nephews. A large number of relatives and friends from this district attended the funeral in Dunnville on Saturday.
