Lisa A. Pearce, 57, of St. Joseph, MO passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at her home in St. Joseph, MO. She was born March 23, 1960 in St. Joseph to Ross & Florence (Byous) Pearce.
Lisa graduated from Savannah High School. She was a member of Saint Marys Catholic Church. She worked for the Missouri Highway Department until battling breast cancer in 1995. She was previously married to Doug Praiswater. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, especially her grandson River, who she was very proud of. She liked all types of music, reading, the outdoors, and her pets. She was a wealth of knowledge on many subjects. She spent most of her life living at her home on 3rd street. She loved to smile, joke, laugh and made friends wherever she went.
She is survived by her daughter, Hannah (Daryl) Pettijohn of Fillmore; grandson, River Pettijohn; brother, James (Jody) Huber of St. Joseph; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Tim Scott, and sister, Carole Hass.
