Harrol served his country in World War II in the United States Marine Corps. He then enlisted in the Selective Service where he met Frances Anderson and from this union was blessed with two children, a son and a daughter.
He loved sports all his life and played golf almost daily. Harrol's last round of golf was on his 90th birthday at the Comanche Creek Golf Course in Mason. He also loved to read and always had a book in his hand. In 2014, he had a special 90th birthday celebration at the Caffey family reunion, a 50 year tradition at Barton Springs in Austin, TX. He enjoyed so much seeing all of his numerous relatives so dear to him.
Harrol was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and two sisters, Charles, James, Woodrow, Carrol, J.E. and Carey Caffey. Lola Pearl Leach and Dorothy Hibler.
He is survived by by his son and daughter and spouses: Robert Caffey and Karrie Schmidt, Sharon Williams and Rob Damico; Grandchildren and spouses: Jonathan and Tiffani Anderson, Tina Caffey and Victor Castillo, Sarah Caffey and Kevin Curley, Rebekah and Tyler Chew; Great-grandchildren: Achilles Alba, Joseph Alba and Lillian Castillo.
