Gwendolyn M. Bell, passed away December 20th, 2017 in St George, UT. She was born, July 4th, 1927, in Monroe, UT to Horace (Hod) Miller and Katherine Jones Miller. As a child Gwen lived in many places. Her father's job as a civil engineer took them to various locations in Utah and Colorado. After high school, she moved with her family to Ogden Utah and attended BYU for 1 year. She then met the love of her life Ronald Bell and they were married on Sept 20th, 1947. The marriage was later solemnized in the Las Vegas temple on November 18th, 1993. Together they had 7 children, 24 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Gwen loved family and spending time with them, as they were her greatest joy. After raising their children in Hunter Utah they moved south to St George Utah where they resided for their retirement year's .They loved to travel, camp and be outdoors and met wonderful friends along the way. Gwen loved to read and was very learned in many subjects and seldom met a crossword puzzle she couldn't solve. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various callings all of which she loved.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday December 27th, 2017 at the Pine View Mortuary in St George UT: 566 N Mall Drive from 9:30am-10:30 am. Graveside services will follow at 11 am at the Washington City Cemetery.
