Leonard Evan McKinney, 76, was born on Feb. 19, 1941, in Longview, Texas, to Evan and Anna McKinney. He passed away on Dec. 22, 2017, at Magnolia Health & Rehabilitation Center.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Ann Reid McKinney of Magnolia; daughter Laura McKinney of Little Rock; daughter Carol McKinney Owens and husband Lee of Searcy; daughter Trena Johnson and husband Terry of Magnolia; bonus daughter Stacy Murphy and husband Lamar of Magnolia; grandsons Evan Carlton and Nicholas Carlton; granddaughters Amber Sanders Coderre and husband Ed of Sibley, La., and Ashley Sanders-Fuller and husband Shane of Magnolia; bonus granddaughter Taylor Wooley and husband Justin of Magnolia; great-grandsons Tanner, Hazen, Maeson, and Holdyn Fuller; and bonus great-grandchildren Bentley and Ainsley Wooley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sara Anne Rippy of Gainesville, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday morning from 9-10 a.m. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
