Martha Ann Burns, 53, died Thursday, December 21, 2017 at High Point Regional Hospital. She was born on August 2, 1964 in Davidson County, NC to Bobby Eugene Burns and Shirley Ann Edinger Burns. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Edinger Burns on November 7, 2002. Surviving is her father, Reverend Bobby E. Burns of Thomasville; brother, Alex Burns of High Point; sisters, Bobbie Hughes and husband Tim of Thomasville and Angela McBrayer and husband Kevin of High Point; uncle, Hayden Edinger of Archdale; step-grandfather, Marvin Potts of Archdale; and special longtime caregivers, Tonya Georgia and Christi Brinkley. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Roger Porter and Rev. Bobby E. Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
