Sean was born in Boston, the son of Helen (Sherry) Allen and the late Thomas Allen, and has lived in Connecticut since 1999. He grew up in West Springfield and was a 1985 graduate of West Springfield High School where he was a member of the Cross Country and Ski Teams. He worked as an Iron Worker for Local #15 Iron Workers Union in Connecticut for the past 17 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, biking, fishing and his canine companions. His most treasured time on earth was the time he would spend with his son, Quinn Allen.
Besides his mother and son, Sean leaves two sisters Mary Cullinan and Lori Lyncosky. Besides his father he was predeceased by a brother Thomas Allen. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday Dec. 27, 2017 at noon followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
