MCKINNEY - Gloria Wyatt Tucker, age 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 at a local hospital in McKinney.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Gloria touched are invited to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat for visitation and funeral.
Gloria was born July 19, 1954 in Dallas to James "Jim" Wyatt and Betty Joyce Wyatt. She was the oldest of two brothers, Robert and James Wyatt, and a sister, Sherri Spencer. She was a 1972 graduate of Richland High School, an avid softball player, and loving mother and grandma. She worked as a nurse for 25 years and ended her career as a technical support manager for a software security company.
Gloria found great joy in being involved with her children and grandchildren's activities. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, crafting, and watching cooking shows. She loved watching the Texas Rangers and rarely missed a game. Gloria was the go to person for advice, as she was not one to sugarcoat and would tell it like it is.
Survivors: Her three children, Penny Austin, Aaron Tucker and Alesha Turner; two sons-in-law, Glenn Austin and Billy Turner; six grandchildren, Jayden Lux, Payton Austin, Madison Austin, Levi Turner, Cole Turner and Carter Turner; ex-husband, Steve Tucker; and two dogs, Anabell and Lily.
