Lillian Imogene Lock, 79, died Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Methodist Hospital. She was born on October 13, 1924 to Harvey Franklin and Rose Irene (Ellis) Allen. She was married to Loren E. Lock for 28 years. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1977.
She was a clerk for the City of Indianapolis Controllers Office for several years, before retiring. She was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed baking and was a talented cake decorator.
She is survived by her loving children, Gary L. Lock, Michael W. Lock, Paul E. Lock, Kevin D. Lock, Suzie R. Lock-Thomas, Janet L. Gartung; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great grand-children; 2 sisters, Charlene Weathers and Marian Lauch; 2 brothers, Harvey Allen Jr., & Roy R. Allen. She was preced in death by her son, Mark A. Lock in 1988.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Sat., Dec. 20, at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. St. Rd. 135 with visitation on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodland Baptist Church or to the Riley Hospital for Children or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
