Kathleen Patricia (Johnson) Hill of Willingboro N.J. passed away on Wednesday November 8th 2017.

Born in New York City (Brooklyn), N.Y. in 1930 she was the proud daughter of Colonel Henry Roland Johnson and beloved niece of Nellie Mulvihill, and Mary & Rhoda Johnson.

Kathy graduated from Trenton State Teachers College and pursued a career in elementary education starting at Plainfield and Titusville NJ, and then for 19 years in the Willingboro NJ school system. She was proud of her work in education, her support of the empowerment of women, and particularly in her many years of leadership in preserving the environment.

Kathy was President of the Willingboro Environmental Commission and was especially proud of her accomplishment in securing funding via the NJ State legislature to create the 205 acre Olympia Lakes Preserve.

After retiring Kathy enjoyed decades of extensive travel with her beloved husband Bill by car, train, boat and plane throughout all 50 states, and Europe, especially enjoying England, Ireland and the Channel Islands. She was always engaged socially and enjoyed her friendships of decades especially with members of Deborah Hospital Thrift Shop volunteers, the Willingboro Food and Wine Society, and the Colonial West Jersey Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, she was also a long time supporter of the Willingboro Public Library.

Kathy was the matriarch of a large loving family and was actively involved in the lives of her children and their families. Kathy led a full, loving and meaningful life that impacted many, even outside of her family.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband William D. Hill, retired Supervising Judge of Worker’s Compensation with whom she shared 63 years of marriage; her children Dr. William David Hill II (Patricia), Patricia Ellen Grim (Thomas), John R. R. Hill (Michele), Thomas Andrew C. Hill (Alison), Peter J. Hill (Mary Gina); Her grandchildren Thomas, Miranda, Olivia, Zachary, Victoria (Michael), Julia, Jennifer, Andrew, Mary Gianna, and Sophia; and great grandchildren Michael and Dean.

Relatives and friends may call from 7 to 9 pm on Monday November 13th at the Givnish Funeral Home, 1200 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077, also at the same location on Tuesday November 14th a viewing for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11am followed by a Memorial service.
