Nola is preceded in death by her husband Paul Stephens, her parents: Carl Hickman and Pearlie Cordell Hickman Franklin, and her brother: Joseph Hickman. She is survived by her son: Scott and wife Teresa Stephens of Helenwood, Tennessee, a very special friend and companion: Bob Thompson, brothers: Nobel and wife Joyce Hickman, Carl Royce and wife Ann Hickman, both of Monticello, Kentucky, Sisters: Jewel and husband Joel Sexton of Monticello, KY., Sarah and husband Gorman Watson of Pine Knot, KY., Georgie and husband Danny Strunk of Pine Knot, KY., Kathy Young of Monticello, KY., Rebecca Hickman of Somerset, KY., Sandra and husband Robert Allen of Whitley City, KY., Sharon and husband Forrest Dunagan of Monticello, KY., and Rosa and husband Dwayne Tucker also of Monticello, KY., along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a cook at McCreary County School system, and a member of Revelo Church of God, she enjoyed participating in all church activities and events, vacationing, traveling, and playing word games.
Funeral will be held at the Pine Knot Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 23rd at 1:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM, until time for services.
