Dorothy Ada Hickey, 73, a former resident of Bremerton, died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma.
She was born Feb. 2, 1918, in Tryon, Okla. Her family moved when she was an infant to Bremerton.
She married Kendall Hickey Sr. March 1, 1937, in Tacoma. He preceded her in death Nov. 5, 1983. She moved to Lake Bay in 1986.
Mrs. Hickey was a homemaker and enjoyed growing plants.
Surviving are her son, Kendall Jr. of Cottage Grove, Ore.; two daughters, Sharon Brooks of Lake Bay, Pierce County and Mary Ann Barbazette of Adelphi, Md.; three brothers; Wesley Peterson of Tacoma, Willis Over of Vancouver, Clark County, and John Over of Long Beach, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
