Gladys was born September 21, 1932 in Catahoula to the late Johnny and Ella Curry Camille, and passed away Sunday, November 05, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Gladys was a homemaker devoted to the love and care of her family. Her most precious moments were those spent with her family no matter the occasion. She was known for her baking abilities and made the best Amish bread, sock it to me cakes, and pralines. Some of her favorite pastimes included ironing clothes for her family, playing bingo and taking trips to the casino. These memories will be cherished by all who knew and loved her and she will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children, Janelle LeCamus Gonsoulin and husband Benny, Dawn Bush and Marty LeCamus and wife Angela; her grandchildren, Storie Gonsoulin, Braedon Gonsolin and partner Janay Antoine, and Brandt Gonsoulin and wife Stephanie, Devin Lewis and husband David and Martie and Kolin LeCamus; her grand-daughters in law, Andrea "AJ" Menard and Ashley DeRouen; her great grandchildren, Meitha Gonsoulin, John Derek Derouen, Drake and Dayton Lewis, Dylan, Ryan and Tristan Menard, Ella Champagne and Olivia Gonsoulin; and her brother, Richard Camille and wife Mary.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kurt James LeCamus; her grandsons, Daniel Menard and Derek Bush; and a brother, Louis B. Camille.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Bridgeway Hospice, especially Erin, Q, and Stephanie for the care and compassion shown to our dear mother.
