Wanda Joan Murphy, age 76, born April 7, 1941 went to her heavenly home surrounded by her family on December 21st, 2017. She had been cared for at home by her family during a year-long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Kenton Murphy, her parents, a sister, and two brothers.
Granny will be missed by her daughters, Kenna Manley, husband Steve and Angela Brown, husband David. She was known for her love and devotion to her family which included Jeremy, Cole, Kenzlye, Jaryd, Maleah and Kendon, along with their spouses and children. “Aunt Jo”, had a special nephew, Terry.
She loved her church family at Springhill Baptist Church.
Honoring our mother’s wishes there will only be a private family service to inter her ashes at Greenlawn North Cemetery.
