Annie Wade Tate, 85, passed away on December 22, 2017 at the Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born January 9, 1932 in Shannon, Mississippi to James Alexander Stewart and Yeddie Wade Griffin. She married Romie Allen ("Buddy") Tate in 1950. She was a member of the Collierville United Methodist Church in Collierville, Tennessee.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy Tate; two grandchildren, Sara Siler and Michael Siler; three great-grandchildren, Sara's son Tate Chalona and Michael's sons James and Sam Siler.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Dana Siler; two sisters, Lenora Armstrong and Hazel Murphy; and a brother, James Stewart.

A Memorial Service will be held at Sanctuary on The Square in Collierville, Tennessee at 2pm on January 6with Rev. David Atkinson officiating.

A graveside service will be held at the Chapel of Faith Mausoleum at Lee Memorial Park in Verona, Mississippi at 2pm on Sunday, January 7 with Rev. Eric Sanford officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
