Helen L. Baldwin, age 91, formerly of North Baltimore, died at 11:47am on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Elizabeth Scott Nursing Home in Maumee. She was born on November 25, 1926 in Bloomdale, Ohio to the late Fred W. and Mary A. (Rosendale) Brandeberry. Helen was married to her loving husband of 45 years, Frank Baldwin, and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2001. Helen is survived by her son, Dave (Karina) Baldwin of Chardon, Ohio; daughters, Dr. Mary (Dr. Edward) Goldberger of Maumee, Ohio and Ann (Dave) Feighner of Uniontown, Ohio; grandchildren, Erica Goldberger, Joseph Goldberger, Chris Baldwin, Antonio Baldwin, Adrianna Baldwin, Scott Feighner, Melissa Dunnham, Emily Staugh and one great-grandchild, Maddie Dunnham. She is preceded in death by her brother, Edward Brandeberry and sister, Blanche Brandeberry. Helen was a high school science teacher at several schools in Ohio. Helen was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in North Baltimore and the Retired Teachers of Hancock County. She was an Ohio Wesleyan Alumni. She volunteered at St. DePaul. Helen loved to cook, knit and sew quilts. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore with Pastor Phil Park-Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour (10:00-11:00am) prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township.
