Born in Bethlehem, PA, Jary has resided in Hamilton for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Penn State University and a Vietnam War combat veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He recently retired as head greenskeeper at the Springfield Golf Course after 15 years of service.
Jary was a fearless and devoted Eagles fan. He had a wonderful sense of humor that was appreciated by many. He enjoyed comradery and spending time at Uno’s of Hamilton.
Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Jean Smith; he is survived by his brothers and sister, Richard, Andrew and Janet Smith; his companion, Sandy Little; his children, Brian Schroeder and Tammy Schroeder; his grandchildren, Tom, Justin, Rebekah and Madeline; and his nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Private interment and Military Honors will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
