Funeral services for Glenn Earl Jordan, 69, of Paducah will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Rev. Don Young will officiate. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Jordan died Sunday, November 30, 2008, at 1:39 a.m. at Western Baptist Hospital.
Glenn and his wife, Mary, are the owners of Fat Moe’s Bar and Grill and the former owners of Kentucky Oaks Homes for over 25 years. His favorite pastime was attending his grandchildren’s athletic events. For many years, Glenn was actively involved in the local athletic community, serving as Khoury League President when his children were small.
The greatest love of his life was his family. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Dowdy Jordan; his children, Randy Jordan and wife Melissa of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Tina Martin and husband Rick, Kelly Pace and husband Ronnie, and Brent Jordan and wife Marcy, all of Paducah; his brother, William Harold Jordan of Paducah; and grandchildren Michael, Chris and Alexis Jordan, Brock, Luke, Noah, Levi and Drake Jordan, Chase, Amanda and Ricky Martin II, Misty Dotters, and Jordan, Bradley and Hayden Pace.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Homer Jordan and Iva Goins Jordan, and a brother, George Jordan.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
