Linda Vance, 70, passed away on December 20, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born in Des Moines, on November 24, 1947.
Linda retired from Bishop Drumm. She enjoyed reading, music, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her husband, John; children, Teresa Vance and Veronica and her husband Johnny Gladwin; grandchildren, Kaitlin Vance, Cody Hochart, Ashley Gladwin, Emily Gladwin; siblings, Francis Hook-Smith, Bill Hook, Robert Hook and Nora Hook. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Hailey; and brother, Paul Beckler.
Memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home 105 4th Street SW, Altoona.
