PALMETTO – Mary Anne Brazeale Tilley, age 86, of Palmetto, Ala., died peacefully at her home in the care of her loving sons. A private graveside service was held at the Gordo City Cemetery December 15, 2017 with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her son, Terrance Neal Tilley, her parents and a sister.
Survivors include her sons, James Michael Tilley and Ronald Jay Tilley both of Palmetto, Ala.; grandchildren, Kimberly Tilley and Amber Anderson; great-grandchildren, Allanni, Branden, Tylor and Cassandra; sisters, Tona Simpson and Judy Hill; and brother, Melvin Brazeale.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Unity Grove United Methodist Church in her memory so the church can carry on the loving and caring work of visiting the elderly and sick in the community.
We would like to thank those who passed through our home showing care and concern. It was deeply appreciated by our mom as well as both of her sons. Special thanks to Amedysis Hospice staff and special thanks to Stephanie, Sharla, Tasha and Kathy who always called to check on us.
