Rita Dianne Overstreet Reynolds, 65, of Bedford, died on Monday, December 18, 2017. She was born in Bedford County on November 24, 1952, a daughter of the late Robert Owen Overstreet and Iris Carter Overstreet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Overstreet and Jackson Overstreet; nephew, David Overstreet; mother and father-in law, James and Emma Reynolds. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Mike Reynolds; sons, Gregg Reynolds (April) and Anthony Reynolds; stepsons, Zerno Reynolds and Eric Reynolds; brother, Michael Overstreet (Carolyn); sister, Gloria Dooley (J.T.); granddaughters, Adrianna and Noella Reynolds; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017, at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut Street, Bedford, with the Rev. Dennis Moody officiating.
