Services for Myra Jane Cotten, 68, of Natchez, who died Monday, December 18, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December, 21, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Natchez with Dr. Doug Broome officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and 1:00 p.m. Thursday until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Cotten was born October 9, 1949 in Lincoln County, MS, the daughter of Hubie Nettles and Lulleen Theresa Lofton Nettles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Shane Seyfarth, Brother, Lamar Nettles, sisters, Opal Nettles, Lyvonne Hudson, and Dixie Johnston, and mother in law, Willie Vee Cotten.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years; Thomas L. Cotten of Natchez; two daughters: Dana McGivaren and husband, Chris, of Prarieville, LA and Janee’ Guice and husband, Wes, of Natchez; one son: Tee Cotten and wife, Angela, of Natchez; eight grandchildren: Peyton McGivaren, Rachel Melancon, Kristyn Arnold, Jordan Arnold, Landon Seyfarth, Caroline Cotten, Macie Seyfarth, and Tripp Cotten; and a number special nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris McGivaren, Peyton McGivaren, Wes Guice, Jordan Arnold, Thomas Cotten, Jr., Thomas Cotten III, Landon Seyfarth, and Will Bryant.
