Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Moselle Memorial Baptist Church in Moselle for Mrs. Josephine Stanley James, age 87, of Moselle who died December 19, 2017, at her residence. Bro. Michael Street, Bro. John Summer, and Bro. Keith Thompson will officiate with burial to follow in the Moselle Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan James, Scott James, Matthew Campbell, Joe Michael Robertson, Blake James, and Chad Stanley. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lamanda Touchstone, Kathy Windham, Lenora Henry, Darlene Fowler, Anthony Shows, Jay Scoggins, R.V. Smith, Mark Davis, Shane Poole, Steven Smith, Shelia Stanley Freeman, Deter Lynn Stanley, and Natalie Davis.
Mrs. James was a faithful member of Moselle Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip James; son, Mike James; parents, Buster and Lola Graham Stanley; and brother Pete Stanley.
She is survived by her son, Stan (Candy) James of Moselle; daughter, Deborah (David) Campbell of Moselle; grandchildren, Jonathan James, Laurie James, Scott James, Jennifer Robertson, and Matthew Campbell; brother, Bobby Stanley of Shabuta, MS; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Moselle Memorial Baptist Church at Moselle.
