"James Allen Echols, 51, of Hot Springs went to live with his Lord and Savior in Heaven on December 14, 2017. He was born August 27, 1966 in Hot Springs to Elmer Jack Echols and Betty Echols.
James was of Baptist Faith. He was a self-made man, devoted son, brother, and father who's kindness could not be measured. His love for family had no end and he never met a stranger that he didn't extend a helping hand to. He will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his father Elmer Jack Echols.
Survivors include his mother; Betty S. Echols, two sons; one daughter; two sisters; Alline Carter and husband Eddie Carter, Sandra Looper and husband Steve Looper, two brothers; Furlin Echols and wife Mary Echols, David R. Echols and spouse Steven J. Echols.
Honorary pallbearers are Ernest Robert, Harps Grocery, Jesse Ashcraft, Kyler Echols and Braden Echols.
A private memorial service was held."
